What size bar is correct for my shed?

Measure the outside diameter (OD) of the breast rail in your shed. It will be either 42mm, 48mm or 60mm (+/- 2mm)  You will require the equivalent size bar.

Note: Pipe is measured and refered to in Nominal Bore (NB) sizes; this is not to be confused with the Outside Diameter (OD)

  • 32NB (Commonly referred to as 32mm galv, or inch and a quarter) has an OD of 42mm
  • 40NB (Commonly referred to as 40mm galv, or inch and a half) has an OD of 48mm
  • 50NB (Commonly referred to as 50mm galv, or two inch) has an OD of 60mm

Can the bars be adjusted to fit any sized rail?

The 42/48mm bars can be interchanged by swapping the angle bracket. The 60mm Bar is a stand-alone model which has been designed with best performance on the bigger pipe.

Is there a left and a right bar?

No, the Miracle Bar will work on either side of the shed, or vet race. Once the clamp end is over the breast rail, angling the bar in either direction will lock it.
